We had a great turn out for Second Sunday in OTR, last Sunday, June 13th!  Thanks to everyone that came out for the event.  Main Street was lined with craft and food vendors and everyone brought their dogs out to join the dog show. It’s so rewarding to see people coming to OTR and having a wonderful time in the area!

Mark your calendars for the last three Second Sundays of the 2010 season: July 11th - Global Groove, August 8th - Neighbor Block Party, September 12th - Eco-OTR!! And if you’d like to be a vendor, you can apply here http://secondsundayinotr.org/

The coveted loin cookie jar was found in Shelbyville, Indiana.  When you open him up, he roars “get your hand out my cookie jar rrroaarr”!  He has made so many people laugh in the store, but it’s time for him to find a loving home.  He will be for sale starting Saturday for $45.  So please help find him a good home, or at least come say goodbye…

At the moment, my favorite item in the store is an original “Sun Flower Chair” in avocado green!  The Sun Flower Chair seems pretty hard to come by these days, but we’ve got one just for you!  $115. It was made in Canada in the 1970’s by a plastics company called IPL.  The Solair Chair, cousin to the Sun Flower Chair, is still produced today, but nothing beats getting an original!
