It’s almost Final Friday here on Main Street!  I found these amazing vintage school charts a couple weeks ago at an antique market and I can’t wait for you to see them!  There’s a set of 16 “New Era Charts for the Teaching and Development of HEALTH * SAFETY * PERSONALITY.” Ranging from the biological effects of radiation to the anatomy of hearing, each chart is double sided for your learning pleasure.  They measure 45” by 32” and prices range from $40-$60.
We’ll be open until 10:30ish for Final Friday, July 29th.  Hope to see you then!

The first Second Sunday on Main of 2011 is tomorrow!  We love the laid back, community atmosphere and getting to see a bunch of new faces on Main Street.  Second Sunday is already growing tremendously from last year-we’re expecting almost 70 craft and food vendors,  Christian Morelein BEER is back, as well as the best local, indie bands brought to you by MOTR PUB!  It’s a great way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.  Hope to see you then! We had a great time at the CityFlea yesterday!  And it was our first day bringing along our 1964 Serro Scotty Sportsman Camper!!!  We’ve been cleaning up the outside of the camper over the past week or so and we patched up some leaks and spruced up the roof.  I’m super excited to start on the interior and I’ll share some photos as I get projects accomplished.  Hoping to have it ready to go for Second Sunday on Main in July!   High-res

Something I never could have imagined happened over the weekend- Atomic Number Ten was featured in the New York Times!!! (Find the online slideshow here.)
As a Cincinnati native and University of Cincinnati grad, I choose to open up a vintage shop in town as my way of trying to make it a little hipper, while bringing a refreshing concept to the Cincinnati vintage scene.  I cannot express how happy I am with my decision to open in Cincinnati and more specifically, on Main Street in Over-the-Rhine!  It’s been amazing to witness the changes in OTR, from new retail businesses opening next door to Main St. overflowing with people on Final Fridays.  I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Over-the-Rhine and I’d like to give special thanks to Cincinnati for your support of Atomic Number Ten!  I’m so proud to call Cincinnati my home :) High-res
